Fourth Annual Young Writer's

On Saturday the Fourth Annual Young Writer's Workshop was held at the P.J. Ahern Home in downtown Texarkana in conjunction with the East Texas Writing Project and the Texarkana Museum System. Daina Land, a graduate of the English Program at A&M-Texarkana was the teacher consultant. Dr. Davis was in attendance, snapped a few photos for those of us that could not attend, and reported that it was a great success with 10 young writers honing their skills under Daina's excellent tutelage.

She also made the paper (though with the name change they gave her, she could say, "Talk to the hand," that's not Daina's style nor is Hand her last name):
