Arab Women Writers:  An Anthology of Short Stories

The main text, at least in the first half of the semester can be located, which you all should already know by now, as an EBSCO ebook.  Here's a link to maybe save you a few clicks:  LIBRARY ELECTRONIC RESOURCES PAGE

Theoretical Texts

Over time I'll add new theory texts for you to read here.  I don't think that there will be so many that this space will need to be expanded, but you never know.

An abridged version of Helen Tiffin's "Post-Colonial Literatures and Counter-Discourse" can be found on Google Books

Gayatri Chakravorty's influential "Can the Subaltern Speak?" can be found in .pdf form here:  Link

Advanced World Literature

Welcome to the class page that I can't seem to get to stay on the web.  If you're reading this, I've managed to buck the odds and it is on the site and will linger for at least a little bit.  We'll see.  Don't tell anyone, but I think the course is cursed.

Arabic Letters.

The website below will take you to the spot you need.  Again, you need only to know the character and the name of it in the initial position.  This includes medial and final positions if you want to write your own name or continue on.
